TNA Book 1
LOT 89 1849 N-22 R-1 AU50. Close to mint state sharpness but there are several tiny nicks including one on the nose, another on the chin, one on the N in ONE, and a couple more on the rim over AM in AMERICA. Otherwise free of notable marks, with choice frosty light to medium brown surfaces. MDS(b).
LOT 93 1851 N-14 R-2 First 1 Repunched PCGS MS62BN CAC. Frosty chocolate brown and steel. Only a few trivial marks, a tiny dig between L & I in LIBERTY the best identifying mark, and hardly worth noting. Satiny luster covers the surfaces and the eye appeal is fantastic. Rare EDS(a), the die line at the throat is visible and the repunching under the base of the first 1 is visible. Tied for CC#13 overall but tied for finest of the early die state in the Grellman census. Our grade is MS60.
