EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 100 1856 N-3 R-1 Slanted 5 AU50. Attractive medium brown and light olive. There are a couple minor nicks on the rims at star 10 and TE in UNITED, and some trivial marks on the central reverse. Smooth, lustrous surfaces. M-LDS(e). Broken out of an NGC MS62BN holder #308311-002 with the Jules Reiver provenance noted (label included).
LOT 97 1854 N-23 R-2 MS60BN. Frosty chocolate brown mellowed to light olive on some high points. Only a couple trivial ticks in the fields, nothing noteworthy or distracting. Attractive surfaces covered in mint luster. MDS(b). Tied for CC#11. Broken out of an old PCGS MS63BN holder #1904.63/9587847 (label included).

LOT 98 1855 N-8 R-4- Upright 55 AU55+. Frosty medium brown and light steel with hints of very faded mint red in some protected areas on both sides and a spot of reddish chocolate before the nose. There are also a few tiny carbon specks on the bottom of star 9, the bottom of U in UNITED, and below T in CENT. Otherwise attractive surfaces covered in mint luster. MDS(b-). Broken out of a PCGS MS63BN holder #1907.63/18316753 (label included).
LOT 101 1856 N-12 R-1 NGC MS63BN. Sharpness close to mint state with just a touch a rub on the high points. Only a few trivial marks, the best identifying include a tick on the cheek and one before the throat. Chocolate and olive browns with hint of lighter tan underneath on lustrous surfaces. LOT 99 1855 N-9 R-1 Knob on Ear EF45. AU sharpness but there is a nick on the chin, and a few more trivial nicks in the obverse fields. Light brown to medium chocolate and olive with faded mint red showing in some reverse fields and protected areas. Smooth and attractive surfaces. E-MDS(b+). Broken out of an NGC MS62BN holder #3514598-016 (label included).
LOT 102 1857 N-1 R-1 Large Date AU55+. Attractive medium brown with a wispy curved streak around stars 11 & 12. Otherwise only the most trivial of marks, nothing distracting or noteworthy. Smooth, lustrous surfaces. EDS(a).
