LOT 79 1839 N-9 R-1 Silly Head VF30. 10 points sharper but there are traces of minor verdigris in some fields and protected areas, and a few dark spots on the central reverse around O in ONE and C in CENT. Only a few trivial marks otherwise on glossy, mostly deep olive and darker steel browns blended with hints of lighter medium brown. MDS(e) with obverse rim breaks over stars 6 and 7-8, as well as a diagonal crack from the left rim break down through the portrait.

LOT 80 1840 N-6 R-1 Large Date AU55. Near UNC sharpness with a few too many light nicks scattered about for a higher grade. None are distracting and the eye appeal is excellent. Lustrous chocolate and medium steel browns with hints of bluish steel overtones and a light woodgrain on the obverse. LDS(c). Removed from an old NGC slab graded MS62BN #264226-001 (label included).

LOT 81 1841 N-6 R-1 AU50. 5 points sharper but there is a dig over the hair bun and a small nick in the right obverse field between stars 10-11. Mostly a blend of medium chocolate and deeper olive browns with a diagonal streak bisecting the obverse from the date to star 7. Lustrous surfaces. EDS(a). Broken out of a PCGS AU55 holder #1832.55/10016986 (label included).
LOT 82 1842 N-4 R-2 Large Date NGC AU58. EF45 sharpness but there are a couple spots of microgranular, crimson oxidation between stars 5-6 and at the ribbon tail, and the surfaces are a bit dull. The surfaces are a blend of deep olive and underlying lighter brown. Only a few trivial marks, one between stars 9-10 the best identifying. MDS(b). Our grade is EF40. 2114585-003
