LOT 68 1835 N-14 R-2 Head of 1836 NGC MS62BN. Deep steel brown with underlying faded mint color visible in the protected areas on both sides. Free of notable marks with frosty luster on the smooth surfaces. MDS(b). Our grade is EF45+. 2114584-007
LOT 69 1836 N-2 R-2 EF45. Glossy medium brown with darker steel brown and olive toning on the highpoints. A speck of darker toning near the dentils over star 4 is the best identifying mark. Underlying satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas. LDS(e). Broken out of a PCGS AU55 holder with the Tucker provenance noted #37114.55/81765977 (label included).
LOT 71 1836 N-4 R-3 NGC AU58. Attractive chocolate and light steel browns. The only notable mark is a rim bruise over ES in STATES. Smooth, glossy surfaces. LDS(c). Our grade is VF35+. The Jules Reiver provenance is noted on the NGC label. 308269-019

LOT 72 1836 N-6 R-2 EF45. Frosty tan and light brown with a puff of lighter golden brown at star 12. No defects. Sharply struck MDS with the usual cud break over star 8. A nice example of the Gobrecht Head version of 1836.
LOT 70 1836 N-3 R-1 EF45. Five points sharper but there is a light (and very easily missed) rim bruise at star 13. Otherwise this cent is choice. Frosty tan and light brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. LDS with a cud break over star 6 and a die crack arcing across the upper half of the reverse.
