LOT 308 1827 N-5 R-2 PCGS XF45 CAC Approved . Attractive light copper brown with subtle splashes of deeper olive around stars 3-6 and 10-11. There are a few trivial marks in the fields, one on the chin, and a faint pin scratch from the lower hair down to the dentils left of star 13. M-LDS( c). Smooth surfaces. yes LOT 309 1827 N-6 R7 (as a die state) VG8 . A couple points sharper but there is a rim dent at ED in UNITED. Otherwise nice for the grade with smooth, glossy light chocolate surfaces. Very rare LDS, Grellman state e early, with a slightly sunken retained cud break under the date. Your cataloger has never seen a better one in the late die state.

LOT 310 1828 N-6 R-1 Large Narrow Date PCGS XF45 . Deep steel brown with lighter ruddy brown underneath. There are numerous trivial nicks, pin scratches, and specks of old crud scattered on both sides, nothing major but enough to warrant mentioning. Glossy, smooth surfaces. MDS(b), the reverse is rotated about 30 degrees CCW. Our grade is XF40 net VF35. 1654.45/28625166

LOT 311 1828 N-8 R3 PCGS graded AU55, CAC Approved . Frosty tan and light brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. Lightly worn on the highpoints but mint frost covers the protected areas and this cent has very nice eye appeal. The only marks are a few light ticks in the field before the portrait, a few nicks on the jawline, and a small splash of darker chocolate toning at the left point of star 5. The reverse is choice. E-MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine die crack through the top of TED. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net EF40. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 36895.55/39177155
