LOT 275 1817 N-1 R4 PCGS graded AU50 . Attractive frosty chocolate and steel brown. Smooth with minor defects including a thin diagonal nick above the hair bun and a small splash of microscopic reddish roughness at the F in OF. LDS, Grellman state b, with die cracks from the tip of the coronet and tip of the bust. Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 36550.50/45349613

LOT 278 1817 N-5 R3 ANACS graded EF45 . Frosty medium brown with darker olive and steel brown toning on the highpoints. Satiny mint luster shows in protected areas and this cent has very nice eye appeal. The only notable defect is a group of small rim nicks over TE in STATES. MDS, Grellman state b, with fine radial die flowlines and partial dentils on both sides. Our grade is VF35+. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. 7446878

LOT 276 1817 N-2 R3 PCGS graded AU58+, CAC Approved . Frosty chocolate brown and steel mixed with lighter brown, especially on the reverse. Satiny and attractive with just a hint of friction on the highpoints. The notable marks are a small patch of very fine carbon over star 1, a small nick in the field before the eye, and a dull, light scratch in the field under star 8. MDS, Grellman state d early, with a radial die crack from the rim through the first S in STATES and faintly through the wreath, but the crack does not reach the O in ONE. Our grade is AU50 net EF45+ for the minor marks. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 36553.58+/34700110

LOT 279 1817 N-6 R1 PCGS graded AU53 . Frosty medium brown and darker olive with lighter steel brown in some of the protected areas. The fields and protected areas are lustrous and there is just light wear on the devices. The only notable marks are a dull nick on the throat and another on the bust tip. MDS, Grellman state b, with flowlined fields on both sides and incomplete dentils on the reverse. A minor double profile shows on the forehead and nose tip. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 36565.53/81299984

LOT 277 1817 N-4 R3 VG10 . Glossy steel brown and chocolate with lighter brown in protected areas. Smooth with minor marks including a couple light scratches left of stars 11 & 12 and small rim nicks at ER in AMERICA. MDS, Grellman state d, with die cracks at the date and adjacent stars.
