1804 C-10 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown . The obverse is choice lustrous golden tan with hints of underlying mellowed mint red and satiny surfaces. The reverse is a relatively dull mix of reddish chocolate and olive brown. Traces of microscopic crud and carbon can be found on the reverse, mostly over CA in AMERICA. A tale of two coins. LDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 3, with flowlined fields and very few dentils remaining on the reverse. Our grade is MS63 for the obverse, AU55 for the reverse , overall AU58+. The Eliasberg provenance is noted on the older green PCGS label. 1063.64/4486310

1804 C-11 R2 Plain 4 with Stems, PCGS graded XF45, CAC Approved . Frosty reddish brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. No roughness or verdigris, and the only notable marks are a fine hairline scratch from the earlobe to the bottom of the neck near the bust, another at the ends of the hair ribbon, and a dull nick between the upper two leaves on the reverse. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with minor swelling in the center of the reverse. Our grade is VF30+. The attribution and D. L. 1804 C-13 R1 Plain 4, No Stems, NGC graded XF45 . Glossy chocolate brown and steel with frost in protected areas, mostly on the reverse. No roughness but there are a few marks including a scratch from the jawline arcing through the curl at the neck into the hair and a light scratch over the H in HALF. None of the marks is visible to the unaided eye. MDS. Our grade is net VF30+. 2543471-002
1805 C-1 R2- Repunched 5 AU50+ . Sharp and attractive with just a trace of wear on the highpoints. Frosty light olive and steel brown with flowline luster in the fields and protected areas. Possibly very lightly cleaned at one time but the toning looks original now and this piece has great eye appeal. Removed from a PCGS holder called UNC Detail Cleaned (PCGS label #1801.92/48085105 included), and it shows the attribution and Jon D. Lusk Collection provenance. Later die state with narrow rim cud breaks at MER, IC, and right of the denominator Ex Anthony J. Terranova- Jon D. Lusk (includes the Terranova sales envelope)

1804 C-12 R2 Crosslet 4, No Stems, NGC graded MS64 Brown . Lustrous tan and light steel brown with hints of very faded underlying mint color, mostly on the reverse. Both sides show numerous small, subtle splashes of darker steel brown toning, especially the obverse. The fields are satiny and the eye appeal of this piece is excellent in spite of the spotting. The only contact marks are a microscopic hairline on the cheek and a small pin prick under the first T in STATES. MDS with flowlined fields, as usual. Graded MS60 by Noyes, his photo #88737. Our grade is MS60+ . The attribution is noted on the NGC label. 453444-004
