LOT 671 1817 Brunk T-86 Counterstamped H.TAYLOR . Counterstamped H.TAYLOR with a very small stamp in the left obverse field. 3 known. Dark brown and steel brown patina with light roughness on the surfaces and scattered trivial nicks and abrasions. Bold date and legends.

LOT 675 1832

Brunk Counterstamped W.H.SCOTT . Counterstamped W.H.SCOTT twice on the obverse intersecting each other. William H. Scott was a dry goods merchant in Philadelphia between 1825-1845. A light layer of oxidation gives a pale steel, matte patina on the obverse, with darker brown and steel on the reverse. Full date, partial legends. S-235

LOT 672 1819 Brunk S-60 Counterstamped S.B.S . Counterstamped S.B.S. within a rectangle on the obverse. Microscopic roughness on the surfaces with a nick star 2, rim bump between stars 9-10, diagonal hairline scratch on the central reverse, and holed atop the obverse. Full date, partial legends. 3 known.

Brunk Counterstamped A.PIERSON . Counterstamped A.PIERSON on the obverse. Deep ebony steel patina with uniform microgranularity covering the surfaces and some glossy build up on the hair braid and raised area along the wreath opposite the stamp. There are also a couple dull scratches on the portrait and bruises along the rims. Bold date, readable legends except C in CENT. P-487

LOT 673 1822 N-7 R3+ VG10 . Several points sharper with too many light contact marks for the sharpness grade. A diagonal nick at the hair under the ear is a good identifying mark. EDS. Glossy chocolate with lighter brown in protected areas on the obverse.

LOT 677 1835 N-4 R4+ Head of 1834 G6 . A couple points sharper but there is a rim dent at stars 10-11 and planchet flakes on the rim over TAT in STATES. Otherwise quite nice with smooth surfaces and very attractive glossy medium brown and chocolate toning. M-LDS, Grellman state d early, with die cracks but no cud on the reverse.

LOT 674 1831 N-9 R2 VG10 . Five points sharper with fine roughness under slightly glossy dark olive toning. Traces of fine verdigris show in protected areas and there are a couple light rim bumps on both sides. MDS, Grellman state e, with die cracks on the obverse.
