LOT 471 1855 N-9 R1 Knob-on-Ear AU55 . Choice frosty light brown and tan. Just a light touch of rub on the highpoints from mint state. A speck of greenish verdigris high on the neck is the only notable mark. M-LDS, die state e, with a strong knob break and cracks outlining an extension of the break under the Y. A nice example of this popular “Redbook” variety.
LOT 475 1857 N-4 R1 Small Date PCGS MS63BN . Attractive light chocolate brown. There are a few low areas around ONE CENT, as struck, and just a bit of rub on the high points. The only marks are trivial nicks on the dentils between stars 7-8, and a more notable mark on the rim over A in STATES. M-LDS(c). Frosty, lustrous surfaces. Our grade is AU55. 1931.63/34185916
LOT 472 1856 N-2 R-1 TCC#5 PCGS MS64RB CAC Approved . Frosty deep bluish steel and mellowed mint red, about 40% of the red remaining on the obverse and 60% on the reverse. The only mark is a tiny scrape on star 6. M-LDS(d). Tied for CC#5 in the Grellman census. Our grade is MS64. 406198.64/28173098

LOT 473 1856 N-6 R-1 NGC MS64BN CAC . Attractive chocolate brown with bluish steel undertones and traces of faded mint red in some protected areas. Only the most trivial of marks scattered in the fields, the most notable is a small cluster over star 12. EDS(a). Beautiful full cartwheel luster and color, excellent eye appeal. Our grade is MS60. 3518996-002
LOT 476 (1833) Hard Times Token, Rulau HT-70, Low 51 R1 EF45+ . Frosty tan with slightly darker steel brown on the highpoints. Lightly worn with excellent eye appeal. LDS with a die crack through the H under the chest. An attractive example of this Andrew Jackson political piece. Weight 164.0 grains.
LOT 474 1857 N-1 R-1 Large Date PCGS MS63BN CAC Approved . Light steel brown with underlying frosty tan in some fields and protected areas. Looks mint state but there is a touch of rub on the high points. The marks include a carbon speck at the lips and a scratch throhg the ear and face. LDS(b). Frosty, lustrous surfaces.
