LOT 226 1803 S-255 R-1 F15. VF35 but the is fine granularity on the glossy dark brown and steel surfaces, a couple shades lighter around the lowest hair curls. The only notable marks are a scratch right of R in LIBERTY and tiny rim nicks under 3 and over E in UNITED. Sharp details, EDS.
LOT 229 1803 S-257 R-2 G4. G6 but slightly rough surface, smoother on the high points. Glossy medium to dark browns. LDS, Breen state V with STATES nearly obliterated. The remaining legends are full and the date is still readable in hand.

LOT 230 1803 S-258 R-1 VG10. VF20 but uniform micro granularity covers all except the highest points of the surfaces. Only a few trivial marks, including a pin scratch above the eye, a pair of ticks on the neck, and another pair of ticks in the field before the mouth. Glossy dark brown surfaces with sharp details. EDS, Breen state I.

LOT 227 Trio of 1803 Draped Bust Cents. Trio of 1803 Draped bust Cents including an 1803 S-256 VF20 net AG3, an 1803 S-260 G5 net FR2, and an 1803 S-262 MDS F15 net G5. All dark and corroded but with much sharper details and strong dates.
LOT 231 1803 S-259 R-4 Ghost 3 VG10. VF25 sharpness but there are numerous rim dents around both sides. Trivial marks otherwise. Glossy medium brown and steel browns with hints of reddish chocolate in some protected areas. Smooth, hard surfaces. MDS, Breen state II.

LOT 228 1803 S-257 R-2 G5. Glossy medium to dark brown surfaces with a few minor rim bumps on either side. Fairly worn but nice and smooth surfaces. LDS with the retained cud obliterating STATES but otherwise full legends, partial date.
