LOT 235 1803 S-263 R-3 VG8. VG10+ but there are numerous marks scattered on both sides. The most notable include a couple pin scratches on the lower neck and a handful of deeper pin pricks on the central reverse. Glossy dark olive brown surfaces. Strong date and legends. E-MDS, Breen state III.

LOT 232 Pair of 1803 Draped Bust Cents. Pair of 1803 Draped Bust cents including an 1803 S-259 M-LDS Breen state III AG3+, and an S-261 LDS FR2. There are some rim bumps on the S-261, but both are fairly smooth for the grades with readable dates. The Ghost 3 feature on the S-259 and strong die break between the 18 and 03 on the S-261 are clear.

LOT 236 1803 S-263 R-3 G5. Glossy medium brown and light steel with a spot of darker steel right of LIBERTY. The only notable marks is a nick behind Liberty’s nose. Smooth, hard surfaces. LDS, Breen state VII.

LOT 233 1803 S-260 R-1 Close Date VG8+. Pleasing chocolate and olive browns. There are a few minor rim bumps, most notably around RTY and under the date and bust tip, but otherwise trivial marks. Smooth, glossy surfaces. M-LDS.

LOT 237 1803 S-263 R-3 G5. Mixed chocolate and ebony patina with slightly rough surfaces. There are minor nicks on the denominator and over N in UNITED, otherwise trivial marks. Semi-glossy surfaces. V-LDS, Breen state VIII with the strong rim cud below the date.

LOT 234 1803 S-261 R-2 Wide Date AG3. G5 but very slightly bent and a few hairline scratches and a couple rim bumps on the left obverse. Otherwise glossy light to medium brown with smooth surfaces. Full date with the strong break between 18 and 03. M-LDS.

LOT 238 1803 S-265 R-4 Lg Date, Lg Fraction VG10. VF30 sharpness but the surfaces are covered with uniform granularity. Otherwise free of notable marks with nice sharp details. Mostly dark chocolate brown with hints of lighter brown on the high points. EDS, Breen state I.
