EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

LOT 166 Trio of 1800 S-199 M-LDS Draped Bust Cents. Trio of 1800 S-199 Draped Bust Cents, including a M-LDS Breen state VII VG8 net G5, a M-LDS Breen state VIII VG10 net G6, and a LDS Breen state IX VG8 net G4. All have scratches and surface issues, but sharper with strong dates and progressive die states.

LOT 170 1801 S-213 R-2 VG10. F15+ sharpness but there are several notable bruises on either side, as well as a trio of notable nicks on the forehead, under the bust tip, and near the rim at K-9.5, Glossy light to medium brown on smooth, hard surfaces. M-LDS, Breen state V.

LOT 167 1800 S-202 R-4+ G5. A point or so sharper but the rim has been rolled, leaving a slightly raised lip on both sides. There are also minor nicks on the portrait consistent with the grade. Nice smooth light brown, deeper brown in the fields. Full date. V-LDS, Breen state VII.

LOT 168 1800 S-203 R-3 G5+. A point sharper but recolored and now mostly a pleasing light brown with puffs of steel. There are minor nicks consistent with the grade. Smooth surfaces. LDS, Breen state V with the large reverse rim break at ES OF.

LOT 171 1801 S-213 R-2 VG7. Slightly sharper but there are scattered spots of minor roughness and verdigris. Olive gray and steel with maroon spots. TDS, Breen state IX.

LOT 169 1801 S-213 R-2 F15. 5 points sharper but there is faint microscopic roughness on both sides. There are a few faint pin scratches, one before the nose, on between 18 and 01, an one left of 1. Otherwise glossy dark brown surfaces. MDS, Breen state IV.

LOT 172 1801 S-214 R-4+ F15. XF40+ sharpness but the surfaces are corroded with a mixed ebony, olive, and dark brown patina. Free of notable marks, though there is a minor planchet clip just right of the bust tip. EDS, Breen state I.
