LOT 162 1800/798 S-191 R-3 P1. Cleaned long ago and now a mixed olive brown with rose and maroon tones. There are wispy hairline scratches on the obverse, and a rim nick at K-8.5. Fairly smooth surfaces. LDS with the large rim break on the bottom reverse.
LOT 158 1798 S-176 R-4 FR2+. Uniform medium brown obverse, with deeper olive and rose tones on the reverse. There are a couple hairline scratches intersecting on the portrait, trivial nicks otherwise. Smooth, rather glossy surfaces, an overall pleasing example for the grade.

LOT 163 1800/79 S-192 R-3 AG3. VG sharpness but fine roughness covers the surfaces, and there are several scratches on the obverse and one horizontal one on the central reverse. There are also several rim nicks on both sides. The top half of LIBERTY is weak, but the remaining legends and date are clear and the overdate feature strong. EDS.
LOT 159 1798 S-177 R-4+ AG3. Deep chocolate brown, the obverse about a G4, the reverse a FR2. There are some wispy pin scratches left on otherwise rather glossy surfaces, likely cleaned long ago. Still a rather pleasing, smooth low grade example with a strong date. MDS.

LOT 160 1798 S-187 R-1 G5. Slightly sharper but there are numerous nicks scattered nicks on both sides, the most notable of which are rim nicks over L and B in LIBERTY. Semi-glossy dark brown, fairly smooth surfaces. M-LDS, Breen state IV late.
LOT 164 1800 S-199 R-4 VG10. 10 points sharper but there is fine granularity covering the surfaces. There are also a couple small scratches, one right of LIBERTY, the other atop N in UNITED. Mostly dark brown surfaces, lighter brown on the devices. Graded F15 net VG7 and Tied for CC#26 by Noyes, his photo #25909. E-MDS, Breen state III.

LOT 161 1799 S-189 R-2 ANACS VG8 Details. VG7 sharpness but likely buried in the ground for a time and now heavy granularity covers the surfaces. No visible marks and despite the surfaces The legends and date are mostly readable, just the very bottoms of 17 is obscured but the 99 is stronger. Our grade is AG3. Certificate Number# 7646081
LOT 165 1800 S-199 R-4 AG3. G6 sharpness but the surfaces are corroded with dents on the rims and one before the mouth. Dark brown and steel. Strong date. M-LDS.
