LOT 90 1796 S-87 R-3 G4. VG7 sharpness but slightly smoothed with trace of fine roughness remaining around ERTY, Liberty’s eye, and the bottom wreath. A couple rim bumps over E in LIBERTY and the first S in STATES are the only marks. Mostly deep steel with lighter olive on the portrait. Readable date and legends.

LOT 86 1796 S-86 R-5 VG7. A few points sharper but slightly corroded dark scale in some protected areas. There are minor nicks in the left obverse field, and a couple above ON in ONE. Deep charcoal and olive patina. Strong date, full legends.

LOT 87 1796 S-87 R-3 PCGS VG8. VG8 sharpness but there is very light micro granularity on the surfaces, smoother on the high points. A pinprick over T in LIBERTY is the only mark. Mostly dark steel and olive patina with lighter brown on the portrait. Our grade is G6. Certificate # 1392.08/14959658

LOT 91 1796 S-88 R-4 ANACS G4. Pleasing light brown with deeper steel in the fields and protected areas giving a nice contrast. Only a few trivial marks, the most notable include a couple rim nicks above R in LIBERTY and a another rim bump over O in OF. Weak at the central reverse, otherwise readable legends and full date. Our grade is consistent with ANACS. Certificate Number# 7686439

LOT 88 1796 S-87 R-3 VG7. 5 points sharper but pitted across the obverse, granular across the reverse, with old verdigris leaving a deep olive green patina. Weaker at ONE CENT but readable in hand, the remaining legends and date are strong.

LOT 92 1796 S-88 R-4 ANACS VG8 Details (Corroded). VG sharpness but covered with uniform granularity. Chocolate and dark olive brown surfaces, free of notable marks. Full date and legends. Our grade is G4. Certificate Number# 7686438

Two tone light brown on the high points, dark brown in the fields, giving a nice contrast. Full date and legends. Our grade is G5. Certificate Number# 7686443

LOT 93 1796 S-88 R-4 AG3. G5 sharpness but there is fine roughness and trivial scattered marks on the surfaces. Smoother on the high points and no major or notable marks, just numerous enough to warrant mention. Glossy chocolate and olive brown surfaces.
