LOT 98 1796 S-91 R-3 Liberty Cap G4. VG8 sharpness but there is scattered pitting on both sides and the obverse was slightly smoothed to minimize the pitting and old hairlines on the portrait. Medium to dark brown and steel. Weak at ST in STATES, otherwise strong date and readable legends.
LOT 94 1796 S-89 R-3 ANACS F12 Details (Corroded). Fine sharpness but covered with fine roughness and granularity, smoother on the devices. Deep steel patina, free of notable marks. Full date and legends. Our grade is VG7. Certificate Number# 7686440

LOT 99 1796 S-91 R-3 Liberty Cap AG3. Near fine sharpness but corroded and cleaned with fine to moderate granularity on the surfaces. Mostly dark brown and steel with faded rose and orange tones underneath. Strong date.
LOT 95 1796 S-89 R-3 PCGS G Detail (Environmental Damage). G6 sharpness but the surfaces are rough with traces of old scale in some protected areas, including glossy build up atop the portrait and under the chin. There is a dull scratch on the neck and a rim bruise at T in LIBERTY. Strong date and LIBERTY, weaker around ONE CENT and OF but fully readable legends. Our grade is AG3. LOT 100 1796 S-92 R-3 Draped Bust NGC VF Details (Environmental Damage). VF20 sharpness but there is microscopic roughness on the surfaces as well as scattered nicks on either side. The notable marks include digs on the chin, over the shoulder, and stop F in OF, as well as old scratches behind the hair braid and above N in UNITED. Dark olive and charcoal surfaces, full date and legends. Our grade is VG7. Certificate # 6327672-002

LOT 97 1796 S-90 R-5+ Liberty Cap G5. Near fine sharpness but there are light pits around the observer peripheries, light corrosion on the surfaces, and faint hairlines on both sides. Mostly olive gray with deeper ruddy brown and marron in the protected area on glossy surfaces. Graded VG10 net G5 by Noyes, his photo #27076. Upset Reverse, EDS.
