1802 S-241 R1 Stemless Wreath, Doubled Fraction Bar F12 Sharpness VF20 but covered with fine granularity. No verdigris and the best identifying mark is a thin fissure through the right top of the Y in LIBERTY. Recolored slightly glossy olive and steel brown. E-MDS, Breen state II, with a fine die crack on the reverse. $400

1802 S-242 R2 VF30 Sharpness near EF40 but recolored glossy steel and chocolate brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. The surfaces are smooth and there are no notable marks. EDS, Breen state I, with a single die crack on the reverse. $2,450
