LOT 92 1834 C-1 R1 MS64 Brown PCGS. The obverse is frosty tan and light brown with light steel brown toning at the top. The reverse is frosty light olive and bluish steel with hints of faded mint red in protected areas. The surfaces are lustrous and the eye appeal is excellent. There are some insignificant ticks on the cheek and neck and a spot of dark toning on the bottom of star 11. LDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 4, with obvious die clashmarks on both sides. LOT 93 1835 C-1 R1 Repunched 5, MS64 Brown PCGS. Lustrous light steel brown and tan with areas of medium brown and light olive on both sides. Attractive with just trivial ticks, mostly on the cheek and neck. A thin nick hidden in the hair under the I in LIBERTY is a good identifying mark. M-LDS, Manley state 2.0, Fuhrman state 2, with die clashmarks on both sides. The repunching inside the curve of the 5 is clear. LOT 94 1835 C-2 R1 Repunched 5, MS65 Brown PCGS, CAC Approved. Lustrous light golden brown and tan mixed with light olive and bluish steel. Ample traces of mellowed mint red show on both sides and this piece has outstanding eye appeal. Satiny and virtually flawless. An inconspicuous tick on the chin and a spot of light reddish brown toning between star 13 and the curl are good identifying marks.
