1804 C-4 R5 VF30 PCGS. Glossy chocolate brown with steel brown toning on the devices. Smooth with minor marks including a couple nicks on the jaw, a small spot of reddish corrosion high on the bust, and a small horizontal nick over AL in HALF. Soft crud shows in protected areas on both sides. EDS, Manley state 1.0 late, Fuhrman state 1, with a few light cracks on the reverse but none on the obverse. This is the plate coin for the die variety in the 1983 Breen half cent encyclopedia (page 228, the large photos, coin provided by James R. McGuigan, photos by Jack Collins).
