LOT 309 1806 S-270 R-1 F12. VF35 sharpness but the obverse surfaces have been smoothed, leaving old hairlines behind, with traces of micro-porosity around the protected areas and across the reverse. No verdigris or other notable marks. Glossy dark brown and steel obverse, semi-glossy dark brown reverse.

LOT 312 1807 S-271 R-1 Comet F15. Two tone deep steel fields with lighter brown on the devices giving a nice contrast. Microscopic roughness covers all but the higher points, and there are a few hairline scratches before the face and one in the hair. No other notable marks. M-LDS, Breen state VI with the “Comet’ break behind the head and another die cracks before the nose and throat. Bold date and legends.

LOT 313 1807 S-271 R-1 Comet VG8. Glossy medium to dark olive brown surfaces. The notable marks include nicks on the rim near the bust tip, a couple minor bruises at OF and T in UNITED, and scratches around AMERICA. Smooth, glossy surfaces. LDS.

LOT 310 Pair of Draped Bust Cents 1806 & 1807. Lot of 2 Draped Bust Cents. Includes an 1806 S-270 R-1 FR2 and an 1807/6 S-273 LDS G5. Both are chocolate and steel browns with fairly smooth surfaces are readable dates. Clear overdate feature on the 1807.

LOT 314 1807/6 S-273 R-1 Large 7 VF35. Attractive chocolate and olive browns. Only the most trivial of marks, a tick before the chin and another over E in CENT the best identifying. E-MDS, Breen state II, with strong clash marks at the throat, below the hair braid, and the upper hair. Strong overdate, Large 7 over 6. Smooth, glossy surfaces with nice eye appeal.

LOT 311 1807 S-271 R-1 F15+. Pleasing medium brown and light steel with hints of tan in the protected areas. Minor scattered marks consistent with the grade, nothing major or distracting but enough to warrant mention. E-MDS, Breen state II early, with a single set of clash marks but before the comet break. Attractive surfaces and color.
