LOT 303 1804 S-266c R-2 VG8. Chocolate and steel browns with ruddy brown in some protected areas. There are a few pin scratches at TE in STATES, above ONE, and on the wreath branches reveal peeps of red underneath, otherwise trivial marks consistent with the grade. LDS, Breen state IV, with the strong rim cud breaks over RTY and MERIC. Smooth, hard surfaces. Graded F12 net VG10 by Noyes, his photo #26182.
LOT 306 1805 S-269 R-1 XF40+. Glossy light olive brown mottled with deeper olive tones on the lower obverse, the reverse the uniform lighter shade. There is a low area on the neck, as struck. M-LDS with clash marks at the throat and a die crack in the hair near the hair braid. Only the most trivial of marks, nothing noteworthy, with subtle hints of frost in the protected areas, particularly on the reverse. Graded AU50 net XF40 and TCC#14 in the Noyes census, his photo #26111.
