LOT 299 1803 S-263 R-3 VG8. VG8+ with a couple light scratches in the hair. There is also a tiny rim nick at Y in LIBERTY. Dark chocolate and dark olive browns. LDS, Breen state VII, the strong rim cud break along the bottom of the date, the die crack at the bust tip worn but visible, and the reverse die break through O in OF fully extended through the wreath and stronger as it extends between UNITED and STATES. Smooth surfaces.

LOT 300 1803 S-263 R-3 G5. Dark brown and deep steel. There is an old scratch over the shoulder, and a few on the unstruck area on the reverse. Struck 20% off center towards K-2, parts of LIBERTY and all of AMERICA didn’t make the planchet but the remaining date and legends are readable. LDS, Breen state VI, the cud break below the date clear and the die break on the reveres through O in OF extending to the left wreath branch but no further. Graded VG7 net G4 by Noyes, his photo #33179.

LOT 302 1804 S-266a R-2 ELECTROTYPE VG8. VF20 sharpness but there is fine pitting on both sides. Otherwise chocolate brown with the underlying lead base metal revealed on the high points. An electrotype copy of the early die state on this key date 1804 Draped Bust Cent.
LOT 301 1803 S-265 R-4 Lg Date, Lg Fraction VG7. A point or so sharper, but there are various minor marks on the surfaces and rims. The most notable include old scratches on the portrait, a couple through CENT, another under the denominator, and rim bruises at the date and from behind the hair braid up to L in LIBERTY. Glossy light to medium browns and light steel tones. M-LDS, Breen state V. Smooth, hard surfaces.
