LOT 236 1801 S-220 R-3 1/000 F12. VF20 sharpness but lightly corroded and cleaned, and now deep bluish steel with traces of old verdigris and maroon areas of shallow scale on the reverse. There are hairline scratches on the obverse, trivial marks otherwise. E-MDS, Breen state IV, with fine die cracks on both sides and strong clash marks around the date.
LOT 233 1801 S-219 R-2 3 Error Rev G4. Dark olive brown surfaces with micro-roughness on either side. There is a nick in the hair near the hair braid, another right of Y in LIBERTY, and a rim bruise at U in UNITED. ATES OF is weak, but otherwise readable legends and date with all 3 Errors on the reverse visible.

LOT 237 1801 S-220 R-3 1/000 VG7. Glossy deep steel and olive browns. There are minor nicks on the portrait and fields consistent with the grade, one bottom fright from Y in LIBERTY the most notable. Clear date and legends. E-MDS, Breen state II.
LOT 234 1801 S-219 R-2 3 Error Rev G4. Cleaned and now toned mostly steel with underlying faded red on Liberty’s neck and the reverse devices. There are also a couple nicks above the bust tip. EDS, Breen state II. Fairly smooth surfaces, strong date, all three errors on the reverse visible.

LOT 238 1801 S-221 R-2 Corrected Fraction VF25. 20 points sharper but fine, uniform granularity covers the surfaces. No verdigris, and the only mark is a minor rim bruise at CA in AMERICA. Glossy dark chocolate brown and charcoal surfaces. EDS. Sharp details.

LOT 235 1801 S-219 R-2 3 Error Rev FR2+. Pleasing medium brown with darker chocolate in some protected areas. There are old hairline scratches that blend in well on both sides, nothing too distracting. Rare TDS, Breen state VIII. Nice smooth surfaces, very appealing for the grade.
LOT 239 1801 S-222 R-1 VG10. 5 points sharper but lightly corroded with fine roughness and a few scattered pits on either side. The obverse is light brown were a few scattered steel spots, the reverse is dark steel brown with lighter chocolate on some of the high points. MDS, Breen state II late . Weaker on the central legends and OF , but still readable, the remaining legends and date clear.
