LOT 146 1797 S-131 R-2 No Stems, Rev of 97 G6. VG sharpness but micro granularity covers the surfaces, stronger on the reverse, with traces of shallow scale in some protected areas. Charcoal steel surfaces. Strong date and legends other than RTY, with the bold die break from the dentils down into the field behind the hair braid.

LOT 149 1797 S-134 R-4 G4+. Uniform dark olive brown surfaces with a few scattered pits on the reverse. Otherwise smooth surfaces free of notable marks, the obverse is VG sharp while the reverse AG3. Struck 10-15% off center towards K-10.5. M-LDS. Graded VG10 net G6 by Noyes, his photo #36668.

LOT 147 1797 S-132 R-5+ VG10. Rather glossy medium brown mixed with deeper coal on the obverse protected areas and fields, the reverse a two tone appearance of the same with the medium brown on the devices contrasting nicely to the darker fields. There is a wispy diagonal pin scratch through 79 and trivial marks on the throat and right field. LDS, Breen state II. Smooth, hard surfaces. Graded F12 net VG7 and TCC#15 by Noyes, his photo #27022.

LOT 150 1797 S-135 R-3 F12+. Glossy medium brown and steel with hints of olive tones in some protected areas. There are trivial marks scattered on the portrait and fields. MDS, Breen state III. Smooth surfaces.

LOT 151 1797 S-136 R-3 F15+. Medium steel brown with hints of light brown underneath in the protected areas. There are a few tiny nicks before the face, a couple near the first A in AMERICA, and a rim bump at the bust tip. MDS, Breen state III. Glossy, smooth surfaces. Graded VF25 net VF20 and TCC#24 in the Noyes census, his photo #25900.

LOT 148 1797 S-134 R-4 VF25. 10 points sharper but there is a rim bruise below the bust tip and the surfaces have been recolored an attractive dark chocolate brown. There is also a tiny rim bump at N in UNITED , otherwise trivial marks and abrasions. M-LDS, Breen state IV. Smooth surfaces. Graded VF30 net F15 by Noyes, his photo #26926.
