EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 128 1796 S-99 R-5 Reverse of 95 G6. VG8+ but there is light roughness around the portrait and a planchet lamination through 9 up to the drapery over 6. Semi-glossy medium brown and dark olive. LDS, Breen state III, with the die crack from L to the ribbon and a stronger crack though B and the hair braid to the left rim.
LOT 130 1796 S-109 R-3 G6. A couple points sharper but there is light granularity covering the surfaces except the highest points. Free of notable marks. Glossy olive brown and charcoal surfaces. MDS, Breen state III. Strong date and readable legends.

LOT 131 1796 S-111 R-5- VG7. Semi-glossy olive brown and steel on fairly smooth surfaces with just a touch of microscopic roughness in protected areas on the reverse. No verdigris, and the only notable marks are a rim bruise over I in LIBERTY and a thin scratch in the field left of the hair ribbon. LDS with a die crack through 96 to the bust. Strong date and legends, a decent lower grade example of this scarce variety.

LOT 132 1796 S-115 R-3 G5. A couple points sharper but there is a dent at the left wreath branch resulting in the wear at the hair. Glossy olive brown mottled with rose and maroon .There is a false obverse rim break at L in LIBERTY. MDS< Breen state V with the die break through the date. Clear, full date and legends.

LOT 129 Group of 5 Early Large Cents. Lot of 5 Early Large Cents that are sharper with surface issues. Includes a 1796 S-84 G4 net P1+ from corrosion, a 1797 S-130 MDS G4 net AG3 from corrosion & verdigris, a 1797 S-140 P1, a 1798 S-183 F12 net G5 from corrosion, and an 1801 S-220 EDS VG8 net FR2 from corrosion. All have readable dates except the S-140.
