EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
LOT 115 1795 S-74 R-4- Lettered Edge G5. The obverse is a couple points sharper than the reverse. Glossy light to medium brown and steel with very fine micro porosity on the surfaces. There are trivial marks consistent with the grade, the most notable include a nick in the upper hair, and tiny rim bumps before the nose and over I in AMERICA. Strong date and clear legends.
LOT 119 1795 S-77 R-3 Plain Edge VG8. VF25 sharpness but lightly corroded with fine roughness on the surfaces. There are also a couple rim bruises at NI in UNITED and C in AMERICA. Semi-glossy chocolate brown and steel. EDS. Strong date and legends.

LOT 120 1795 S-78 R-1 Plain Edge AG3. G4+ but there is a cluster of tiny, parallel nicks on the upper reverse, as well as rim bruises at N in UNITED, below 17, and behind the lower curls. Glossy dark brown and steel with scattered areas of darker steel toning. Smooth surfaces.
LOT 116 1795 S-76b R-1 Plain Edge G6. A couple points sharper but there are a couple pits on the upper reverse and light roughness in some protected areas. Cleaned and now toned faded red and light browns with deeper charcoal in the protected areas. Clipped planchet before the neck. EDS. Clear, full date and legends.

LOT 121 1795 S-80 R-5- ELECTROTYPE Jefferson Head AU50. Glossy light brown with underlying faded red in the protected areas. There are a couple of areas of the underlying base metal visible that also contain micro porosity, one on the neck and the other on and above ON in ONE. An attractive electrotype copy of the ANS Jefferson Head Cent.
LOT 117 1795 S-76b R-1 Plain Edge AG3. G5 but there are tiny pits scattered on both sides, more so on the reverse. There are also minor rim bruises at AM in AMERICA and behind the cap. Semi-glossy medium brown and steel. LDS. There is a small planchet clip over ER in LIBERTY. Worn but readable date and most legends in hand.

LOT 122 1796 S-84 R-3 G6. F15 sharpness but corroded with rough surfaces and old hairline scratches on the obverse than blend in well. No other notable marks with a dark brown and ebony patina. EDS. Strong date and legends.
LOT 118 1795 S-76b R-1 Plain Edge FR2. G4 but damaged on the top and bottom of both sides. There are a few pits in the right obverse field and carbon specks on the reverse. Otherwise glossy light brown surfaces. Plain Edge. 173.0 grains.
