LOT 63 1786 M 15-J R-4 Leaning Head, Straight Plow New Jersey Copper Holed. VF25 sharpness but holed stop 86 through the bottom of U on the opposing side. Pleasing medium brown surfaces with a few trivial marks on the fields and rims, and a very shallow clip bottom right of the shield. Despite the hole the date and legends are easily readable.

LOT 59 1787 M 33.15-R.1 Connecticut Copper NGC VF20. Attractive chocolate and dark browns, lighter on the devices and high points. There are a couple minor rim bumps, nothing distracting, and some natural planchet flaws or striations on the lower legs and shield. Otherwise smooth, glossy surfaces with bold date and legends. LOT 64 1786 M 19-M R-5 New Jersey Copper NGC VF Details (Environmental Damage). VF25 sharpness but fine micro granularity covers the fields, smoother on the high points. The only notable mark is a dig below IB on the reverse. Pleasing chocolate and dark brown surfaces with strong date and legends. Our grade is VG10. 2820312-001

LOT 60 1787 R 3-G R-3 Massachusetts Cent G5. A couple points sharper but cleaned and now toned faded red and steel browns. The only other marks are minor rim bruises on the bottom obverse and a couple old scratches around the bow. Clear date and legends. 150.7 grains.

LOT 61 1788 R 8-C R-5 Massachusetts Cent AG3. VG8 but there is notable damage at the rim at EA in WEALTH and TS on the opposing side pinching the edge out of round. There is also a speck of old verdigris on the bottom right edge of the shield. Otherwise smooth surfaces with wood like pattern chocolate and steel browns. Full date. 156.1 grains.

LOT 62 1788 R 12-I R-4 Massachusetts Cent G5. Sharper on the reverse than the obverse, about VG8 on the reverse and AG3 on the obverse. Glossy medium brown with parallel striations. The legends on the obverse are weak but readable, the Indian fully outlined, and the reverse details are clear. 148.6 grains.

LOT 65 Lot of 5 New Jersey Coppers. Lot of 5 pieces of New Jersey Colonial Coppers, including a 1786 14 J, a 1786 17-b, two 1787 48-g, and a 1787 38-Z. All grade Poor to VG.
