LOT 55 1786 M 5.8-H.2 R-5+ Connecticut Copper VG10. F15 sharpness but there is are a couple planchet flaws including a void in the hair clear through to the other side on the shield, and a lesser flaws behind the neck on the obverse and on the last digit of the date. Otherwise smooth, glossy surfaces with bold legends and fine die breaks on INDE.

LOT 56 1787 M 2-B R-3 Connecticut Copper NGC VF Details (Environmental Damage). VF sharpness but lightly corroded with fine roughness on a deep olive green patina. There is also a notable planchet void between INDE and ET. Struck off center on the obverse towards K-9 with the top half of AUCTORI missing, as is the bottom half of the date. Otherwise full legends. Mailed Bust Left. Our grade is VG10. 2662501-008

LOT 52 Lot of 4 Connecticut Coppers and 1 Blacksmith Token. Lot of 5 coins, including a 1786 M 5.8-F R-5 AG3, a 1787 M 33.13-Z.6 R-5 AG3, a 1787 CT, a 1788 CT, and Blacksmith Token, all fair to AG. The Connecticut coppers all have readable dates.

LOT 57 1787 M 9-D R-5+ Connecticut Copper VG8. Glossy dark brown and steel. There is a small, curved planchet crack on the bottom obverse, otherwise only a couple trivial marks. The usual strike weakness is apparent on the obverse, however the surfaces are choice and smooth, nice eye appeal for the grade. Mailed Bust Left.

LOT 53 1785 M 4.4-D R-7- Connecticut Copper G4. Two tone light brown on the devices and high points, dark brown in the fields, with traces of dark scale in some protected areas. Fine granularity covers most of the surfaces except the highest points, which are smooth. There is a minor flaw on the rim after the last C in CONNEC, free of notable marks. Readable date. 141.1 grains.

LOT 58 1787 M 32.3-X.4 R-2 Connecticut Copper VF25. 5 points sharper but there is very light micro granularity along the lower reverse and a couple old scratches in the left obverse field. Otherwise rather glossy dark charcoal surfaces. Strong date and legends.

LOT 54 1786 M 5.5-M R-3 Connecticut Copper G4. Dark chocolate brown, a few shades lighter on the devices and high points. There is a notable diagonal planchet fissure from the bottom rim up through the neck and hair, a couple smaller ones at I in LIB and below the B, and a lamination or low area on the top left reverse. VLDS, struck slightly off center on the obverse, well centered on the reverse. Full date. 130.7 grains
