LOT 66 1787 M 6-D R-2 New Jersey Copper ANACS AG3 Details (Damaged - Corroded). AG detail, the reverse sharper than the obverse, but there are scattered digs across the obverse and old hairline scratches that blend in well left of the shield. There are traces of shallow, rosy scale in some protected areas as well. Otherwise semi-glossy medium brown and olive surfaces. No Sprig Above Plow, M Shaped ears, Double Coulter variety. 4112610
LOT 68 1787 M 63-q R-3 New Jersey Copper VG10. F12+ but there is fine granularity covering all but the high points, which are smoother. Semi-glossy dark chocolate brown and steel surfaces. Free of notable marks, no verdigris. Bold date and legends.
LOT 67 1787 M 62.5-r R-9 COPY New Jersey Copper MS60. Chocolate and deep steel browns on choice smooth surfaces. Exceptionally sharp with the identifying die break left of the date up through the plow. An attractive copy of the extraordinary WM Above Plow Type, the first variety struck at Morristown by Walter Mould.
LOT 69 Lot of 6 Early Coppers & 1 Civil War Token. Lot of 7 pieces, including two 1787 New Jersey Coppers, four large cents (1798, 1800, 1811, 1827) grading Poor - Good, and an 1863 ANACS MS60BN Patriotic Civil War Token. 4784369
LOT 70 1788 M 67-v R-1 New Jersey Copper VG8. VG10 but there is a planchet crack on the top obverse clear through to the reverse. Glossy dark brown and olive fields with lighter steel brown on the devices. Strong date and weak in places but mostly readable legends except those caught in the planchet crack.
LOT 71 1788 RR-17 R-4 Vermont Copper F12. XF40 sharpness but lightly corroded with a notable scrape on the obverse portrait along the back of the head, neck, and shoulder. No other notable marks. Dark steel and olive browns with strong date and legends.
