LOT 120 1824 N-4 R2 EF45+ . Glossy chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and quite attractive, just lightly worn on the devices. Only trivial marks including a diagonal hairline scratch under the right corner of the eye and a tiny nick left of star 1. MDS, die state c early. The arc line between the bases of the S and O is faint but still visible.

LOT 121 1824/2 N-5 R4+ Overdate 4 over 2, PCGS graded VF35, CAC Approved . Glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate with mint frost in protected areas. Lightly worn and essentially flawless to the unaided eye with outstanding eye appeal for a circulated cent. The only notable marks are a tiny vertical nick before the lower lip and a small pinprick in the field right of the T in CENT. MDS with the usual crumbling in the dentils at stars 2-5. The overdate feature is obvious. Called VF20 and tied for CC#7 in the Noyes census, his photo #37124. Our grade is VF20+, close to VF25. Comes with a nice provenance.
