Terry Denman Collection of Middle Dates Part 1

THE TERRY DENMAN COLLECTION

LOT 169 1828 N-11 R2 PCGS graded AU58+ . Glossy light brown with slightly darker steel brown on the highpoints. Satiny mint frost covers the fields and protected areas, and this cent has mint state eye appeal in spite of a light touch of friction on the highpoints. A thin line of darker toning up from star 3 and an arc of darker toning through the line below CENT are good identifying marks. LDS, die state b. The stray S and O on the reverse are gone. Noyes photo #28685. Our grade is AU58 . Comes with an important provenance. (The holder is lightly scuffed.). 36901.58+/19801465 Ex Homer K.
