LOT 309 1839 N-6 R2 Booby Head AU50. Sharpness close to mint state but there is a dull rim dent over star 5. Otherwise smooth with a few trivial marks, none notable. Frosty light to medium brown delicately woodgrained with some olive brown on the obverse. Mint frost shows in protected areas. M-LDS, Grellman state c. The two reverse die cracks are clear and the fine arc line at the dentils tips over OF is dull but still visible. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS63BN (NGC label #308031-009 included, and it shows the attribution and Reiver provenance).

LOT 307 1839 N-4 R1 Silly Head PCGS graded VF35. Glossy olive and chocolate brown with some slightly darker chocolate brown on the upper right quadrant of the reverse. Smooth with no notable marks, just light wear on the devices. E-MDS, Grellman state a late. The small horizontal dash left of the bottom of the 9 is faint but visible. Our grade is VF20. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 37231.35/34936618

LOT 310 1839 N-9 R2 Silly Head VF30+. Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. A superior cent for the grade with light wear on the devices and outstanding eye appeal. Nicely struck MDS with trivial contact marks.

LOT 311 1839 N-10 R3 Booby Head EF45. Glossy reddish brown. The fields and protected areas are frosty and the only mark is a small diagonal nick in the center of the cheek. Sharply struck with excellent eye appeal.

LOT 308 Quartet of 1839 Booby Head Cents grading F12+ to F15+. Includes N-5 R2, N-7 R2, N-11 R1, and N-13 R2. All are attractive glossy brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces. Lot of 4 coins.
