EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS
Lot 4 1808 S-277 R-2 PCGS VF35. A mix of dark brown and steel browns with hints of lighter brown in some protected areas. A minor nick at the bottom of star 9 is the only notable mark. Lot 5 1808 S-277 R-2 PCGS XF45. Attractive light to medium browns with light steel toning on some of the devices. There are a few trivial marks, including small nicks on the cheek, before the nose, in the field left of star 10, and a dull nick between 8 and star 13. Smooth, glossy surfaces. Lot 6 1808 S-277 R-2 VF30. 10 points sharper but there are faint hairline scratches in the left obverse field. There is also a minor rim nick between M and E in AMERICA, otherwise only the most trivial of marks.
