Lot 80 1813 S-293 R-2 VG10. F12+ but there are several old scratches on the obverse and minor nicks scattered on the surface and rims of both sides. The most notable include nicks along the top rim, a rim bump at star 13, and one on the wreath at N in UNITED. Smooth, hard surfaces. Mostly dark brown, a couple shades lighter on some high points. Lot 81 1813 S-293 R-2 PCGS XF Detail (Cleaned). XF sharpness but cleaned and there are numerous trivial marks scattered on both sides. The more notable include a vertical scratch below O in ONE and another scratch along the bottom dentils of the reverse. Mostly steel with deeper crimson patina in some protected areas, especially on the reverse. LDS, Breen Die State III, Smith state 2.
