Lot 76 1813 S-292 R-2 PCGS AU Detail (Cleaned). Near AU sharpness but lightly cleaned on the obverse. Now toned dark olive and chocolate browns. Only the most trivial of marks, nothing noteworthy. Struck ever so slightly off center towards K-11, and there is also a shallow planchet clip over star 7. Smooth surfaces. E-MDS, Breen State II, Smith state 2. Lot 77 1813 S-292 R-2 PCGS VF Detail (Cleaned). Near XF sharpness but lightly cleaned and now a deep steel patina. There are a few faint hairlines on Liberty’s face and left field, and minor nicks around U in UNITED. MDS, Breen state III, Smith state 3.
