Lot 56 1812 S-288 R-1 Lg Date PCGS VF35. Attractive even medium brown on the obverse, mottled with lighter brown on the reverse. Only a few trivial marks, the best identifying ones include a tick right of star 2 and another right of star 13. Smooth surfaces. MDS, Breen state II, Smith state 2. There is also a minor planchet clip at star 5. Steely medium brown with deeper ebony in some protected areas.
