Lot 52 1811 S-287 R-2 F12. F15 sharpness but there are various nicks scattered on the surfaces, and a couple on the rims, nothing major but enough to prevent the higher grade. There is also a minor planchet lamination over the first S in STATES. Mostly even medium brown with hits of ruddy brown on Liberty’s neck and the field before her face. Smooth surfaces. Lot 53 1811 S-287 R-2 F12. F15+ but there are a few old hairline scratches on the central reverse and minor rim bumps along the upper obverse.
