Lot 58 1812 S-288 R-1 Lg Date PCGS XF40. XF sharpness but there is shallow, granular scale above T in CENT and in the protected areas of the lower left wreath and UN in UNITED. Minor nicks near stars 1-4 and a few along the high points of the wreath are the other marks. Smooth, hard surfaces otherwise. Dark brown and deep olive. LDS, Breen state III, Smith state 3. Lot 59 1812 S-288 R-1 Lg Date PCGS VF30. Mahogany and olive brown surfaces. The notable marks include a nick in the field near star 2, one on the rim below 81 in the date, and a tiny one on the dentils over C in AMERICA. Smooth, hard surfaces. Lot 60 1812 S-289 R-1 Lg Date VF30. AU50 sharpness but there are scattered spots of very light corrosion on both sides as well as wispy hairline scratches on the portrait and fields.
