LOT 311 1828 N-11 R2 ANACS graded EF40 . Glossy light olive and steel with frosty tan in protected areas, particularly on the reverse. The surfaces are smooth and a rim dent at star 3 is the only notable mark. E-MDS, Grellman state a, with clear remnants of the stray S visible left of the first S in STATES. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net VF25. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341013
LOT 314 1830 N-1 R1 Large Letters ANACS graded EF40 . Frosty light olive and medium brown. Satiny and nearly flawless, just lightly worn on the devices. A dull, barely visible nick at the bottom of star 7 is the only mark. MDS, Grellman state c, with die cracks at stars 1-3. Our grade is VF35+, close to EF40. LOT 315 1830 N-2 R2 Large Letters ANACS graded VF20 . Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth, just worn. A very small rim bruise at IT in UNITED is the only notable mark. MDS, Grellman state b, with a strong radial die crack from star 13 to the dentils. Our grade is F15+. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341017
LOT 312 1829 N-1 R3 Large Letters ANACS graded VF30 . Glossy dark olive brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. Mostly smooth but there are a few tiny specks of verdigris on both sides. LOT 316 1830 N-4 R2 Large Letters ANACS graded EF45 . Frosty tan and light brown with a few splashes of darker olive brown toning on the obverse, the largest in the field right of the date. Traces of microscopic carbon dust show in some of the darker spots. A small planchet void over the N in CENT is a good identifying mark. MDS, Grellman die state b, with a fine radial die crack from the E in UNITED to the dentils in addition to the earlier cracks on both sides. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF35+. LOT 313 1829 N-5 R3 Medium Letters ANACS graded F12 . Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The strike is relatively flat, as usual for this variety, and the surfaces and eye appeal are consistent with a higher grade cent. The only marks are some fine hairline scratches in the field before the neck. MDS, Grellman state c, with irregular crumbling in the dentils from star 3 to star 6. Our grade is F12, same as the ANACS assessment. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7348688
