LOT 297 1823 N-2 R2 ANACS graded VG10 . Glossy steel brown fading to chocolate in protected areas. The only mark is a nick on the jaw near the throat. Smooth, just worn, and there is dirt in protected areas on the reverse. EDS, Grellman state a, with no crumbling in the dentils. Our grade is VG8+, close to VG10. LOT 300 1824 N-4 R2 ANACS graded VF35 . Partly glossy chocolate brown and steel. Looks smooth but a glass shows fine verdigris in the fields and protected areas on the reverse. Just a few trivial marks including a tick on the right end of the line under CENT. LDS, Grellman state e, with a small hook on the crack where it leaves the lower point of star 12. Our grade is VF35 sharpness net VF25. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341003

LOT 298 1824/2 N-1 R1 Overdate 4 over 2 ANACS graded VF20 . Slightly glossy dark olive brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. Looks smooth to the unaided eye but a glass reveals uniform very fine roughness covering the planchet. No marks or notable evidence of verdigris. EDS, Grellman state b, with die cracks but no crumbling in the obverse dentils. The overdate feature is obvious. Our grade is VF20 sharpness net F12. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. LOT 301 1825 N-6 R3 ANACS graded EF40 . Frosty light to medium brown with light chocolate toning on the reverse. Smooth and very attractive, essentially flawless with light wear on the devices. MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine die crack through the N in ONE. Our grade is VF30. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341007

LOT 302 1825 N-9 R2 ANACS graded VF35 Details, Corroded . Mostly glossy dark olive brown and steel. Essentially smooth and very nice except for a patch of moderate corrosion at MER through the leaves below to NE in ONE. No contact marks and frost shows in the protected areas. LDS, Grellman state c, with a fine die crack over star 3 to the brow. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net VF20. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341006

LOT 299 Pair of ANACS-graded Cents, 1824 & 1827 . Includes 1824 N-2 R2 ANACS graded F15 Details, Corroded (our grade net VG10), and 1827 N-4 R2 ANACS graded EF40 Details, Corroded (our grade net F15). The first is smooth except for a bit of fine granularity on the reverse; the second is covered with fine to moderate granularity, strongest on the reverse.
