LOT 246 1803 S-249 R2 Corrected Denominator 100/000 VG7 . Slightly sharper but there are some marks and areas of minor roughness. A planchet void in the field before the mouth, a dull nick on the neck, and a small rim bruise at TE in STATES are the notable marks. No verdigris. MDS with a die crack through the bust but no cud break. The date and legends are clear and the Corrected Denominator feature is visible to the unaided eye.

LOT 242 1802 NC-1 R5+ G6 . Slightly sharper but there is a small but obvious dig in the center of the reverse. Otherwise the only marks are a rim nick under the date and a small rim bruise under the fraction. Glossy light chocolate brown with smooth, attractive surfaces. MDS, Breen state II, with a light die crack that bisects the obverse from the B in LIBERTY to below the bust. LOT 243 Group of 6 Cents, 1802-1839, grading AG to VG . Average grade is AG-G. Includes one each 1802, 1810, 1817, 1826, 1827, and 1839. A couple are sharper with defects but all have a clear date. Lot of 6 coins.

LOT 247 1803 S-254 R1 F15 . Ten points sharper but lightly whizzed and nicely retoned glossy medium chocolate brown. The toning looks original and the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice. No roughness, only minor contact marks including a dull nick low on the neck and a light rim nick at the U in UNITED. EDS, Breen state I, with no die cracks.

LOT 244 1803 S-243 R2 Stemless Wreath, Doubled Fraction Bar G6 . Sharpness F12 but dark with fine roughness on the obverse and pitting on the reverse. Specks of raised verdigris show on the reverse and some of the pits are deep. Glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter brown highpoints. The only notable contact mark is an old scratch near the dentils over the bust tip. MDS with a rim cud at TY extending to the right. The date and legends are clear and the die cutter errors on the reverse are obvious.

LOT 248 1803 S-258 R1 Small Date with Large Fraction PCGS graded VF30 . Partly glossy olive brown and steel with subtle puffs of reddish brown on the obverse. Looks smooth but a glass reveals microscopic roughness in protected areas. Just trivial contact marks including a very light rim bruise at the U in UNITED. E-MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks but no cracks. Our grade is VF25 sharpness net VF20. Certificate #1485.30/26530507

LOT 245 1803 S-246 R3 ANACS graded F12 Details, Corroded . Rather glossy light olive brown with lighter brown toning on the devices. Covered with microscopic roughness but there is no verdigris and the eye appeal is decent. The only marks of any significance are a rim bruise under the 3 and another over ES in STATES. EDS, Breen state I, before the “Mumps” break at the throat. Our grade is VG10 sharpness net VG7+. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341097
