LOT 224 1800 S-199 R4 G6 . Slightly sharper with light roughness in the fields and protected areas while the devices are smooth. Partly glossy dark steel and olive brown. No verdigris or significant marks. The date is strong and the legends are easily readable. MDS with die cracks and swelling on the reverse and a small cud break connecting the F in OF to the rim.

LOT 226 1800 S-205 R4 ANACS graded VF25, Reverse Rim Burr . Glossy olive brown and chocolate with some lighter steel brown on the reverse. Smooth and attractive. The only mark is pre-striking planchet lamination or “Burr” right of the denominator (as minted). MDS. Our grade is net F15. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341088

LOT 225 1800 S-200 R3 AG3+ . Glossy steel brown with slightly lighter brown in protected areas. Smooth, just worn. Later die state with swelling affecting much of the reverse. The date is clear as are the legends not affected by the swelling. Close to G4.

LOT 227 1800 NC-6 R6+ Overdate 800 over 798 VG7 . A few points sharper but covered with fine granularity. No verdigris and the only marks are a minor rim bruise left of the date and a small rim nick off the upper edge of the hair ribbon. Slightly glossy medium chocolate and steel brown with slightly lighter steel brown on the devices. The date and legends are complete and strong for the grade. The repunching on the base of the F in OF is clear. Graded VG10 net VG7 and tied for CC#2 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #25345. Bland says VG8 net G6.
