LOT 231 1801 S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 ANACS graded F12 . Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth and virtually flawless, just moderately worn. A tiny chip on the rim over the R in LIBERTY is the only mark. Scarce EDS, Breen state I, before the cud break at RT. Our grade is consistent with the ANACS grade. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341090

LOT 228 1801 S-215 R4+ VG10 . A couple points sharper with a small rim bruise at the end of the bust and a dull nick over the bust tip. Otherwise smooth and nice for the grade with only trivial contact marks. Glossy dark steel and olive brown. MDS, Breen state IV, with cracks and swelling left of the date and a cud and cracks at the top of the reverse. The date and legends are strong except for those elements affected by the swelling and cud.

LOT 229 1801 S-219 R2 3-Error Reverse ANACS graded AG3 Details, Scratched . Glossy medium chocolate brown. The surfaces are smooth but there are some marks including a long nick on the bottom of the neck and a scrape across ONE. The date is strong and the three die-cutter errors on the reverse are clear. E-MDS, Breen state III, with a single die crack at UNI. Our grade is AG3. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341089

LOT 232 1801 S-224 R1 ANACS graded VG8 . Glossy chocolate and olive brown. Smooth and very nice for the grade, just worn. A minor nick in the field under the hair ribbon is the only notable mark. EDS, Breen state I. Our grade is VG8. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341091

LOT 233 1802 S-227 R2 NGC graded EF45 . Glossy chocolate brown and steel. No roughness or verdigris, only light contact marks. A horizontal nick under the chin and a thin nick at the leaf tip under the O in OF are the notable marks. MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks off the neck and back of the head. There is a clear double profile on the bottom edge of the jaw. A nice cent, just lightly worn. Our grade is VF25+, close to VF30. The attribution and Mervis Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. Certificate #2038619 023

LOT 230 1801 S-219 R2 3-Error Reverse AG3 . Several points sharper but moderately corroded. No marks, just faint traces of verdigris on the reverse. Slightly glossy dark olive and steel. E-MDS with a single die crack on the reverse. The date is strong and the 3 die-cutter errors are visible, although the error denominator is relatively weak.
