ATTRACTIVE 1833 PROOF

LOT 152 1833 C-1 Breen 1-A R5 (as a Proof) PCGS graded PR64 Brown . Light olive brown with lighter brown toning in some protected areas on the reverse. The fields are reflective and the only notable marks are a barely visible rim bruise under the date and a small planchet flake near the leaf high over the L in HALF (as struck). Breen die state II showing no die clashmarks on either side. A sharp, attractive piece. Our grade is Proof-60+. Certificate #1198.64/29251905

LOT 155 1849 C-1 R2- NGC graded MS64 Brown . Glossy olive brown with traces of mellowed mint red on the reverse. The only notable mark is a small nick in the field at the throat. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective thanks to a fresh die polishing. Manley state 2.0 with a die line up from the left end of the base of the 1. Our grade is MS62. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Certificate #1903351-001

LOT 153 1834 C-1 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved . Lustrous light olive and steel brown with mellowed mint color showing on 15% of the obverse and 5% of the reverse. Frosty with excellent eye appeal. Looks choice to the unaided eye but a glass reveals some microscopic contact marks, none significant. Sharply struck EDS, Manley state 1.0, with no die clashmarks. Our grade is MS60+ . Certificate #1165.64/32840135

LOT 154 1835 C-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Red & Brown . Lustrous light olive with 15-20% of the mint red remaining. Subtle overtones of light sea green and bluish steel show on both sides and this piece has really nice eye appeal. A puff of reddish brown toning in the hair over the I in LIBERTY is the only notable mark. LDS, Manley state 3.0, with clashmarks on both sides and a die crack arcing across the reverse. Our grade is MS63. Certificate #1169.64/82293935

LOT 156 Quartet of Half Cents, 1851 & 1853, grading VF35 to EF45 . Includes 1851 (3), and 1853. All are attractive glossy brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces and light wear. Lot of 4 coins.
