LOT 629 1860 Medal to Celebrate the Establishment of the Washington Cabinet of Medals at the US Mint, Feb 22, 1860, EF40 . Glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Light friction on the highpoints and minor contact marks including several nicks in the fields on the reverse. Struck in copper. Diameter 60 millimeters.

LOT 631 1985 Pair of Stack’s Medals Honoring “Our First 50 Years” on 1783 Washington Restrike Breen-1193 AU50 . One piece has the obverse of the Breen-1193, the other has the reverse from that restrike variety of the Washington Medal. The other sides have the Stack’s announcement. Struck in brassy copper. Each weighs 170.5 grains with a diameter of 22 millimeters. Lot of 2 pieces.
