LOT 599 1788 Vermont Ryder-18 R5 ET LIB INDE variety VG10 . Considerably sharper, close to VF25, but there is a collection of deep scratches at the face and cheek and the planchet is covered with fine to moderate roughness. Slightly glossy medium brown and chocolate. The date and legends are all easily readable, and the ET LIB INDE legend on the reverse is strong. Later die state with a strong die crack up through the bust into the neck. Listed on page 57 in the 2023 “Redbook.” Weight 94.2 grains.

LOT 602 1783 Washington Georgivs Triumpho Token Breen-1184, Baker-7 VG7 . Glossy olive brown and chocolate with lighter brown on the devices. No defects, just wear. The date is clear and the legends are easily readable. Listed on page 77 in the 2023 “Redbook.” Weight 117.6 grains.

LOT 600 1788 Vermont Ryder-25 R2+ NGC graded VG8 . Glossy steel brown and chocolate. Mostly smooth but there are roughened areas on the neck and at VER. No verdigris or notable contact marks. The bottom of the date is fading into the rim but it remains easily readable. Late die state with a dull, strong crack across the neck into the field at the front of the bust and swelling in the center of the reverse. Our grade is consistent with the NGC grade. The date and legends are all readable. Late die state with strong die cracks on the reverse (ship side). Listed on page 74 in the 2023 “Redbook.” Weight 146.7 grains.
