LOT 519 1787 Connecticut Miller 9-D R5+ Mailed Bust Left VG8 . Sharpness several points better but there are some marks including a half dozen very light bisecting scratches on the obverse, a couple stronger ones at the upper left of the reverse, and a small but deep dent at the knee of the seated figure. Otherwise mostly smooth with attractive glossy chocolate brown toning. Struck slightly off center to the top leaving part of the obverse legend and lower half of the date off the planchet. Everything else is clear. Weight 116.5 grains.

LOT 522 Quartet of 1787 Connecticut Coppers . Includes Miller 14-H R3 AG3, Miller 26-AA R5 AG3, Miller 33.3-W.1 R4 late die state G4, and Miller 33.28 Z.16 R5 “Snipe Nose” VG8. Three have a readable date. Inspection recommended. Lot of 4 coins.
