LOT 515 1786 Connecticut Miller 5.11-R R5+ Mailed Bust Left NGC graded VF20 . Frosty light to medium chocolate brown and steel. Nicely centered and quite attractive for the grade. The only defect is a collection of very fine planchet fissures in the field before the nose and another tiny planchet flake in the hair at the back of the head (as struck). Our grade is consistent with the NGC grade. One of the finest known of the variety and it comes with a superb provenance. Weight 123.1 grains. The attribution and Stickney-Donald G. Partrick Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. Certificate #2048943-072 Ex Matthew Adams Stickney Collection, Henry Chapman 6/25/1907:176 ($2.75)-Hiller Ryder/F. C. C.
