LOT 318 1809/6 C-5 R1 Overdate 9 over Inverted 9, PCGS graded MS63 Brown . Frosty light steel brown with traces of golden tan in protected areas. Slightly darker steel brown toning covers the highpoints and there is an arc of medium brown on the right half of the reverse. The luster is a bit subdued from a very thin layer of natural oxidation. Sharply struck with trivial marks including a small puff of darker toning under the 8, a tiny tick on the right side of the 0 in the date, and a thin nick on the right top of the normal 9. EDS, Manley state 1.0, with clear undertype from the inverted 9. Our grade is MS60. A nice example of this popular “Redbook” variety. The 9 over Inverted 9 feature is noted on the PCGS label. Certification Number 1126.63/20353537
