LOT 142 1787 Connecticut Miller 32.2-X.1 R3 DBL EF40 . Very attractive glossy light olive brown. Smooth and choice, essentially flawless with light wear on the devices. Struck slightly off center to K-10.5 leaving the bottom of the date tight to the edge of the planchet. A premium example in every respect. Weight 156.6 grains.

LOT 141 1787 Connecticut Miller 31.1-gg.1 R3 DBL, PCGS graded VF25 . An ET LIR variety. Glossy medium brown. Smooth except for the usual minor chipping on the face and neck and on the opposing area of the seated figure. Later die state with strong die cracks on the reverse and sinking around the head of the seated figure. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label. LOT 143 1787 Connecticut Miller 32.2-X.2 R5 DBL, NGC graded XF45 . Beautiful glossy light olive and chocolate brown. Smooth with great eye appeal, just minor chipping in the centers and a small chip out of the rim at the E in INDE and the opposing I in AUCTORI (barely visible in the holder). Late die state with a strong rim cud at the top of the reverse and a die crack at the first 7. LIB is softly struck. Struck with the reverse rotated 60 degrees CCW. An impressive example of the variety. Weight 138.9 grains. Comes with a very nice provenance. The Hanson-Donald G. Partrick Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label.
