E-MDS with fine die flowlines but no crumbling in the dentils over the R in AMERICA.

LOT 538 1831 N-7 R1 Large Letters, PCGS graded MS63 Brown . Frosty light golden tan with traces of mellowed mint red on the reverse and slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. No notable marks other than a few barely visible specks of darker toning scattered over the obverse. Looks mint state but there is a trace of rub on the highest points of the portrait. LDS, Grellman state b, with flowlined fields and crumbling in the notch on the right side of the R in AMERICA. The strike is a bit uneven, strong on the right side, weaker on the left due to the die faces not being in perfect parallel alignment. Our grade is AU55.
